The iPad has many built in features which require no extra software to engage learners and make life easier for them. Items like speak text, highlight, colour filters are all simple ways that enhance student learning without making a student feel different.

Our advice is to;

• Connect and move slowly with accessibility.

• Consult your child about how their learning is going. Ask what they find difficult.

• Pick an accessibility feature off the guide that may help them and encourage them to try it with you and then in their schoolwork.
